CSA. 2502 , under the theory that he intentionally shot and killed his girlfriend in Butler Twp. outside of Hazleton and was facing a life sentence. Mr. Muckler secured a plea to a non-intentional Murder charge that carried an agreed upon sentence of 20-40 years.
- Com v. Woronowicz - CP-40-CR-380-2024. Client was charged with assaulting hospital security in Wilkes-Barre, two counts of felony assault (18 Pa. CSA 2702) with maximum possible penalties of 7 years. Mr. Muckler secured a complete withdrawal of charges after filing a motion to dismiss the case.
- Com v. Shoffner - CP-40-CR-4397-2021, Client was charged with Rape (18 Pa. CSA 3121) and Sexual Assault (18 Pa. CSA 3124) (among lessor charges). Defendant facing a maximum possible sentence of up to 30 years on those charges stemming from a College date rape allegation in Wilkes-Barre. Mr. Muckler filed a motion to dismiss and got those charges dismissed.
- Com v. Benson - MJ-11309-NT-69-2024, Client was charged with harassment (18 Pa. CSA 2709) out of Jackson Twp in the Dallas area. Secured a dismissal of charges at the summary trial stage.
- Juvenile Case: CP-40-JV-8-2024, Juvenile client charged with rape charges (18 Pa. CSA 3121) by the Hazleton City Police. After full hearing on the merits, the Judge found the minor not responsible and dismissed the charges.

- Shakwan White CP-35-CR-1938-2022. Client was charged with Possession of Firearm by a Felon (18 Pa. CSA 6105) and faced over 10 years incarceration in connection with a traffic stop out of Scranton. Mr. Muckler filed several motions challenging the automobile stop and search warrant as well as strength of the Commonwealth’s case. On the eve of Trial, the Commonwealth finally withdrew the felony firearms charge effectively conceding they did not have enough evidence.
Columbia County
- Com v. Guaman CP-19-CR-991-2018. Client was charged with Rape (18 Pa. CSA 3121) and facing over twenty years incarceration in connection with an alleged college date rape out of Bloomsburg. The case had languished for over 3 years before Mr. Muckler got involved. He promptly filed, and litigated, a motion to dismiss. After which the Defendant pleaded to a minor misdemeanor facing only a 2 year sentence.
- Com v. Diaz CP-19-CR-741-2020 and CP-19-CR-191-2022. Client was charged with several firearm offenses involving the firing of a weapon in Bloomsburg. Mr. Muckler was able to secure a reduction of charges and an agreed upon sentence of one year. Less than a month after being placed on probation, the Defendant was arrested for Burglary (18 Pa. CSA 3502) and related offenses, now facing a potential 30 year maximum penalty. Mr. Muckler was able to secure the Defendant’s entry into a special diversion program whereby after two years of probation, all felony charges would be dismissed.
Susquehanna County
- Com v. Brown - CP-58-CR-191-2024. Client was charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver 470g of meth (35 Pa. CSA 780-113) in connection to a traffic stop, K-9 sniff, and search warrant out of Harford/Lenoxville area of Susquehanna County. The Defendant was facing a potential 30 year sentence. Mr. Muckler challenged the arrest, the K-9 sniff, and the validity of the search warrant. The Court tossed the search warrant and, as a result, the drugs were suppressed.
Lycoming County
- Com v. Smith - CP-41-CR-73-2023. Client was charged with Aggravated Assault (18 pa. CSA 2702) in connection with a bar room altercation that left the victim with severe injuries out of the Jersey Shore area. The Defendant was facing a potential 20 year sentence. At trial, Mr. Muckler convinced the Judge that the Commonwealth’s case lacked enough merit to send to the jury, causing all charges to be dismissed.
Schuylkill County
- Com v. Rodnick - CP-54-CR-742-2022. Client was charged with Firearms Carried without a License (18 Pa.CSA 6106) and related charges in connection with a neighbor dispute out of the Minersville area. The Defendant was facing over 12 years incarceration. Mr. Muckler filed a host of motions challenging everything from the validity of the Firearms charge to the police search of the Defendant’s house. After a hearing on the motions, the DA accepted a plea to lessor misdemeanor charges and a probationary sentence.
Bradford County
- Com v. Chopra - CP-08-CR-782-2023. Client was charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver Marijuana (35 Pa. CSA 780-113) in an amount that filled a tractor trailer and a 15 year maximum sentence out of the Sayre/Athens area. After intense negotiations with the Commonwealth’s attorney, Mr. Muckler secured a probationary sentence.
Monroe County
- Com v. Kishel - CP-45-CR-76-2024. Client was charged with multiple Aggravated Assault (18 Pa. CSA 2702) and related charges stemming from the police responding to an alleged domestic assault near Saylorsburg where the Defendant was facing over 30 years incarceration. Mr. Muckler was able to secure a resolution to minor misdemeanor charges and a probationary sentence.
